Raveena Supra, MA, LPCA
Hi! My name is Raveena (she/her). In my work, I strive to bring warmth, cultural humility, and a sense of healing into the therapy space. My approach is grounded in creating a safe and supportive environment, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Person-Centered Therapy. These modalities help me support clients in moving through stuck points, deepening present-moment awareness, and reconnecting with their bodies.
I particularly enjoy working with young adults navigating self-esteem and self-confidence issues, major life transitions, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. I specialize in supporting individuals impacted by racism, bigotry, intergenerational trauma, acculturation challenges, and disordered eating. I also work with issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and everyday stressors. I strive to create a space that affirms all identities and lived experiences.
As a South Asian therapist of Punjabi descent, I bring a deep sense of empathy and cultural awareness to my work with BIPOC and other marginalized clients. A key part of my approach is recognizing and challenging the systemic forces that impact people of color, queer and trans individuals, and those at the intersections of multiple identities.
I hold a master’s degree in professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark College, and I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Addiction Studies from Washington State University (go Cougs!). I’ve also obtained certification in eating disorders treatment.
