Beth Getsinger, MA, LPCA

No one makes it through life unscathed and we all need extra support sometimes. Whether you are struggling to overcome trauma, to connect healthily to your body, or to navigate one of life's many transitions, my goal is to listen to what you need and to help you get there. I do this by offering new perspectives, identifying patterns, and facilitating greater understanding of self. I bring my authenticity and humor into therapy in order to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to express yourself and explore your growth potential.

I use the Human Validation Process model to guide my work. This approach considers how our families and formative relationships impact our development, works to increase self-compassion and self-esteem, and recognizes the goodness in all of us. I also use mindfulness techniques, creative expression, and person-centered therapy to meet you where you are at.

I received my Master of Counseling degree from OSU-Cascades and am experienced in helping clients affected by anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, and major life transitions, among other concerns. Prior to joining the Wilder Wellness team, I worked with adults experiencing incarceration. For nearly a decade before that, I worked with teenagers at a number of youth development nonprofits. My experience and therapeutic approach is well suited for clients struggling with disordered eating, as well as other concerns.

I love to travel, read, swim, craft, practice yoga, play games, and spend time with family and friends. As a native Floridian, the ocean is my happy place.

I work virtually with individuals over 14 in Oregon and accept Pacific Source, OHP, and cash pay.
